1956 Austin Healey Factory 100M Lemans NEW

1956 Austin Healey Factory 100M Lemans NEW

Price: $115,000.00

This factory 100M is one of the finest available on the market today. It is an original factory 100M, in the LeMans registry and has a Heritage Certificate. All numbers match. There are very few of these cars remaining and on the road today. This car was built on March 22 in 1956. It first arrived into Florida in June of 1956. It then went to a new owner in the spring of 1969 where it was driven regularly in the spring summer and fall. It was services regularly. Prior to the restoration completed in the spring of 2009, the car was last driven in 1980 and then stored on blocks in a Milwaukee garage. It was then sold in the fall of 2002 and transported to Mesa, Arizona in the fall of 2002. In late 2007 it was sold and the restoration began by a Healey specialist in 2008. The car was a “roller” and did not run when the restoration began. Pictures of the car prior to restoration are available and listed below.

This 1956 Austin Healey "FACTORY" 100M received a ground up, nut and bolt restoration. It is a matching number and has a BHMIT document proving the Factory M Heritage is also included with the sale of the car and listed below. This rare car received a complete ground up restoration to the highest possible standards, which included complete mechanical, electrical, suspension, hydraulic and structural restoration and rebuild. The car was finished in the original Old English white over Black coves. In addition, the paint used is a high end German Urethane base coat clear product with perfect color match to original. The finish was then hand rubbed and polished to the highest standards. Furthermore, the interior is finished to the correct leather seating design in proper period style of Black seats with white piping. All photo documentation is available since the when the car was first started of this exceptional restoration. Only 125 meticulous miles have been placed on this car since the completed restoration. This is one of the most desirable of all of the Austin Healey models and super rare. Only 640 were made Factory 100Ms and much less exist today. As said earlier this is a real, documented Factory 100M. Only 640 of these cars produced with much, much less of them on the road today. This is a truly rare, great, and collectible car that will continue to go up in value. A great investment that can be take to shows as well as be enjoyed. Also this car is registered in the 100M registry.

We took some liberties with the finishing of the car. We will happily correct MOST of our liberties and return the car to original style at no charge.

  • 1. We polished the windshield frame posts instead of painting them to match the car.
  • 2. Cockpit surround was polished instead of finished in mat silver.
  • 3. Coves were painted straight similar to the 100S, which also shows up on the 100M in photos of Geoffrey Healey's book.
  • 4. Did not paint silver portion of gauge cluster surround.
  • 5. Just installed the breather hose for the cold air box (not pictured).
  • 6. 100 M dash plaque was placed over to the left a couple of inches to far.
  • 7. Chrome Dayton wire wheels in a wider version and increased spoke count than original.
  • 8. Stainless steel exhaust has been added.
  • 9. Polished carb domes instead of mat finish.

    1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster

    1954 Jaguar XK120 Roadster

    Price: $79,900.00

The "120" in its name referred to its 120 mph (193 km/h) top speed (faster with the windscreen removed), which made the XK120 the world's fastest standard production car at the time of its launch. With alloy cylinder head and twin side draft SU carburetors, the dual overhead-cam 3.4 L straight-6 XK engine was comparatively advanced for a mass-produced unit of the time. With standard 8:1 compression ratio it developed 160 bhp (119 kW). Not only does it have the coveted Jaguar beauty, but this car is all the more stunning in the classic British racing green exterior and biscuit interior. It is an excellent running car that has the distinct Jaguar deep throated exhaust note. Many receipts of the restoration are available along with pictures of the process. One cannot restore a Jaguar XK120 for the price of this car.

    1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

    1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

    Price: $6,900.00

We are selling this stunning VW Karmann Ghia for a very nice customer. The car has been well maintained. This nice driver type car has spent all of its life in the south. It has the original owners manual that is stamped. If you are looking for a fun car and an inexpensive car that is turn key and ready to go, this car would be what you are looking for. Not a show car, but a nice presentable, reliable, driver type car.

Paint/Body The paint is much older, but presentable. It has some cracking in the paint. It does appear this was the original color for the car. In the rear area near the trunk the paint has an imperfection and has began to peel. Pictures are presented below of this imperfection. Overall it looks like an older paint job and solid body, Not a show winning paint, but presentable.

Chrome The chrome on this car looks like it is original and old. It is not terrible, but looks older and can be cleaned in some areas

Interior/Upholstery The seats have been recovered and look new. The carpets are new. The headliner is good. The back seat also looks like it has been recovered. The upholstery on the doors looks a little older. The dash and gauges look good. The owner states that the gas gauge does not work and has not worked before they bought it or during their six year ownership

Engine and Engine Detail/ trunk The engine compartment looks fairly clean. Someone could detail it a little more if they wish, but it does not need it. The owner states that the engine has been replaced and was rebuilt. They do not know when these were done, but it does run and drive very well. It also shifts nice. As said earlier this is a nice driver for someone looking for a fun little car.

Tires/wheels The tires look okay and so do the wheels. No major imperfections and look clean.

Structural, floors and frame The underneath of this car is solid. I do not see any rust or rot. The floors appear to be original. Pictures are presented below as well. ALL CARS SOLD AS IS.
